An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 31 August referred to tidings received from Hamburg, Germany reporting that catch results of the Dutch and Hamburg Greenland whalers were bad. Again was a whaler with 6 whales lost in the ice although her name was unknown. Her crew was saved by commander Leydekker. Since 10 June was not a single whale catches.
