Built by W. Gray&Co. Ltd., Hartlepool, England in October 1902. In 1939 of Masuda Kyugoro, Kobe, Japan, call sign JPMA, official no. 29815. Between 1902-1924 of Melbourne Steamship Co. Ltd., Melbourne, Australia. Sunk off the west coast of Luzon, Philippines by the American submarine Bonefish (SS-223) on 14 October 1944. Dimensions 306.4 x 45.1 x 20.1 feet. Gross tonnage 2.542 tons, under deck 2.287 tons and net tonnage 1.939 tons. With a coal bunker capacity of 407 ton and a speed of 8 knots a range of 3.500 nautical miles. Reciprocating 231 nhp steam machinery.
