An item reported the first sections for the 30.000 tons floating dry dock under construction at Nikolajev, Russia [nowadays Ukraine] were launched. The dock was to be used at Sevastopol, Russia [nowadays Crimea] and to be fitted out with the latest equipment including pumps making it possible to pump the water out within 2 hours.
