British screw steam yacht Valhalla 1891-1915 ( HMS Valhalla II 191601919, Valhalla 1919-1921)

Tonnage 900 tons and as dimensions 73,00 x 11,33 x 6,27 metres or 239.6 x 37.2 x 20.7 feet. Fitted out with an auxiliary triple expansion 3 cylinder steam engine delivering 145 nhp. When in British naval service armed with 1-3pd quick firing gun. Laid down by Ramage&Ferguson, Victoria Shipyard, Leith, Scotland with yard number 117 for Joseph Laycock in 1891, launched on 20 October 1892, delivered in 1892, sold to James Lindsay, 26th Earl of Crawford, requisitioned by the Royal British Navy in 1915, commissioned as a repair and depot ship on 20 June 1915, decommissioned on 9 September 1919, sold to Merrienne Frères-Aleandred&Andrè, Soc. Merrienne, France, converted into a fruit carrier, sold to F. Baudoin, Le Havre, France and wrecked on 2 December 1921 off Cape St. Vincent, Portugal.
