Norwegian seal and walrus hunting and whaling out of Tromsø in 1890

In his report wrote the British vice consul at Tromsø that the hunting of seals and walrus gave gave results good enough for most involved persons to have profits. Two of the fitted out ships were lost at Spitsbergen. The whaling at Skarö was very satisfactory.
