An item reported that 2 American US army bombers attacked on 22 May Rabaul harbor, New Britain, Papua New Guinea, nearly missing a large transport although probably hitting the docks. In the bay were 1 large ship (possible a warship), 7 medium sized transport and 10 smaller vessels sighted.
