American whaler Cyrus reported off Peru according to the newspaper The Inquirer and Mirror dated Saturday 28 February 1835

An item dated Thursday 26 February mentioned that the whaler Weymouth reported off the Peruvian coast on 2 September 1834 the whaler Cyrus master Hussey of Nantucket 1.050 barrels oil.
