Australian whaler Panama arrived at Monganui, New Zealand according to the New Zealand newspaper Daily Southern Cross dated 26 June 1857

An item reported the arrival at Monganui, New Zealand on 20 March of the Australian whaler Panama of 233 tons from Sydney master G. Griffiths 1 month out, empty, cleared for whaling on 25 March.
