French whaling ship Nile visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 12 April 1845

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 6 April of the French whaling ship Nile captain Smith of Le Havre, France 18 months out 1,900 barrels whale oil, off and on.
