Dutch cargo ship Solon 1956-1973 (Sotiria P 1973-1976, Alexandra 1976-1979, Dimitrios X 1979-1980, Sun Glory 1980-1982)

Netherlands-flagged, IMO 5333658 and call sign PHPO. Built for account of the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij (KNSM), Amsterdam by the Amsterdamsche Droogdok Mij, Amsterdam in 1956. As Sotiria P owned by Santypar Shipping Co. Ltd., Famagusta, Cyprus-flagged. As Alexandra owned by Destino Mundial Armadora SA, Piraeus, Greece, Greece-flagged, same owner and flag as Dimitrios X and as Sun Glory owned by Strella Cristal Nav SA, Panama City, Panama-flagged. Capsized and sunk near Bombay, India on 18 August 1982. Gross tonnage 3,916 tons, net tonnage 2,106 ton and as dimensions 362.11 (between perpendiculars)-392.0 (over all) x 49.0 (moulded)-49.3 (extreme) x 26.6 (moulded) x 21.6 (maximum) feet.
