British battleship HMS Emperor of India bound for Gibraltar and Malta according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 20 for the week ending 20 November 1920

An item reported that the British battleship HMS Emperor of India (1) would depart from Sheerness, England on 27 November bound for Gibraltar and Malta.

Note

1. Part of the Iron Duke-class battleships (5x2-34.4cm/13.5” cal 45 Mk V guns), preceded by King George V-class, succeeded by Queen Elizabeth-class, ordered in 1911, laid down by Vickers, Barrow-in-Furness on 31 May 1912, launched on 27 November 1913, commissioned on 10 November 1914, decommissioned and sunk as target in 1931, salvaged and sold to be broken up broken on 6 February 1932 arriving 10 days later at the scrapyard.
