An item reported that in July in Japan the Supplementary Naval Estimates passed and since then the number of light cruisers and destroyers of which the building was financially alloted to 1920-1921 was increased. For 1920-1921 the building figures were 2 battle cruisers (1), 4 light cruisers, 29 destroyers, submarines (number not specified) and several auxiliaries, approved previous 1920-1921.

Probably of the 46.738 tons measuring Amagi-class main armament 5x2-40,6cm/16” L/45 (sometimes reported as 41cm/16.1”) guns, of which was damaged beyond repairs in the 1923 earthquake, 2 cancelled under the Washington Naval Treaty of February 1922 and the forth finished as the aircraft carrier Akagi.
