Displacement 1,461 (standard)-1,604 (construction)-1,821 (full loaded) with as dimensions 98.00 (water line) x 10,10 (waterline) x 3.30 (construction draught) metres and height side 55/735 mm. Armament consisted of 2x2-10.5cm/4.1” guns, 4x2-3cm [3.7cm/1.5”?] anti aircraft guns and 2x3-53.3/21” torpedo tubes. The propulsion consisted of 2 geared steam turbines with total horsepower of 52,000 hp allowing a speed of 19 (cruising)-37.24/37.5 (maximum) knots and a range of 1,900 nautical miles/war cruising speed/300 ton fuel oil bunker capacity. Crew numbered 160 men. Preceded by the type 41 torpedo boat, six or 9 were ordered in 1944 planned to be built by Schichau, Elbing, Germany, but never realized.
