Dutch whaling fluyt ship De Juffrouw Maria for sale at auction at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1783

 

Shipbrokers Tamme Beth Ysbrandsz, Abraham Kluft Lamiou, Willem Moller and Nicolaas Titsingh. Auction at Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement, Haarlemmerdyk, Amsterdam on Monday 10 November 1783 at 17:00 o’clock of the Dutch whaling fluytship De Juffrouw Maria, late commandeur Jan Quak. Lying at the Schelvishooft. Built in 1755. Dimensions 114 (prow) x 29.4 (first beam before large hatch within the hull) x 12.6 (depth of hold at first beam before large hatch on load line) x 6.9 (height verdeck first beam before large hatch) x 9 (height steering wheel area), all in Amsterdam foot. Sold for ƒ 8,800 to Klaas Honig.
