Completion status of the American destroyer USS Drayton (DD-23) on 30 June 1911


Name superintending constructor J.A. Spilman, contract signed on 29 September 1908, expiration of contract period on 29 September 1910, lines faired on15 February 1909, first hull material ordered on 23 October 1908, keel laid down on 29 August 1909, first frame erected on 23 August 1909, first large castings received on 7 September 1909 and estimated degree of completion on 30 June 1911.

1. Part of Paulding-class, preceded by Smith-class, succeeded by Cassin-class. Launched on 22 August 1910, commissioned on 29 October 1910, decommissioned on 17 November 1919, stricken on 8 March 1935 and sold on 28 June 1935 to be broken up.
