An item reported that in 1958 four Yugoslavian fishing vessels were contracted by the Egyptian government for exploring and researching Egyptian waters. Two were still active in the Red Sea and the remaining two in the Mediterranean the latter two ready early 1959. Although the results were yet nog fully studied there were allready discouraging prospects for the tuna fishery in the Mediterranean past west of Alexandria, Egypt and the Libyan border.
