British depot ship HMS Sandhurst underway towards Copenhagen, Denmark according to the weekly appreciation of matters of naval interest No. 61 for the week ended 14 February 1920

An item reported that colonel Tallents and Mr. O’Mallet sailed with the British depot ship HMS Sandhurst towards Copenhagen, Denmark. The Senior Baltic Officer (S.N.O.) Baltic was ordered to arrange their passage towards Libau [Liepaja, Latvia].(1)

Note

1. Launched by Harland&Wolff, Belfast, Northern Ireland on 14 December 1905 as merchant ship Manipur, hired in November 1914, acquired in 1915, used as dummy battleship Indomitable, conversion into a depot ship completed in September 1916 and broken up in April 1946.
