Enemy submarines sighted in Vancouver area according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 4 August 1942

An item reported that twice activities of enemy submarines off Vancouver Island was reported, one 25 miles southwest of Vancouver, B.C., Canada and the second one 100 miles northwest of Vancouver, B.C. It could be same submarine.
