Locations of German seaplane carriers according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 1 August 1942


An item reported that the believed locations of the German into seaplane carriers converted merchant ships were Schwabenland at Le Havre, France, Frieseland, Westfalen and a new Ostmark type in Norwegian waters and the Ostmark in the Baltic.
