The German embassy at Tokyo, Japan wrote on 28 October 1935 to the Chef der Marineleitung at Berlin referring to the Japanese monthly magazine Yushu that the inland gunboat Rimin, part of the riverine flotilla, built in 1933, tonnage 65 tons, speed 11.0 miles, flatt-bottomed and an armament of (anti aircraft) guns, machineguns, search lights and wireless devices.
