Russian battleship Georgii Pobedonosets involved in mutiny according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 7 July 1905

An item dated Sevastopol, Ukraine 6th reported that the Russian battleship Pobjedonossez (1) which was also involved in the mutiny of the Russian battleship Potemkin (2) joined the squadron commanded by rear admiral Krieger again.(1)

Notes

1. Part of Ekaterina II-class but with a moodified design compared with her half-sisters succedeed by Imperator Aleksandr II-class. Building ordered on 27 March 1889, laid down by ROPiT Shipyard, Sevastopol, Crimea on 5 May 1891, launched on 9 March 1892, commissioned in September 1893, decommissioned in 1920 and sold at Bizerte to be broken up in 1930.

2. Kniaz Potyomkin Tavricheskiy. Preceded by Peresvet-class succeeded by Retvizan, laid down by Nikolaev Admiralty Shipyard on 10 October 1898, launched on 9 October 1900, out of service on 19 April 1919, stricken on 21 November 1925 and broken up in 1923.
