British destroyer HMS Basilisk 1929-1940

Part of B-class destroyers preceded by HMS Ambuscade and Amazon succeeded by C- and D-classes. Laid down by John Brown&Co Company, Clydebank, Scotland on 18 August 1929, launched on 6 August 1930, commissioned on 4 April 1931 and sunk in a German air attack during the Dunkirk evacuation on 1 June 1940.
