Tasmanian whaling barque Augustus visited Hobart Town, Tasmania in 1847

An item reported the arrival on 8 January, 184 tons, master Young coming from the South Seas with oil, departed to the South Seas on 21 January with stores. List of owners reported Young as owner and master Lutterill.
