Dutch merchant ship Ceres wrecked underway from Cardiff to Lisbon 14 December 1852

The Dutch consul at Bayonne reported that the French brig Jeune Basquaise arrived with the 6 crewmembers of the Dutch vessel Ceres master W.J. Zelling underway with a cargo of coal from Cardiff to Lisbon.
