The Dutch merchant ship Susanna Maria wrecked off Kijkduin, Netherlands according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 4 November 1824

Den Helder, Netherlands, 1 November. The ship Dutch ship Susanna Maria, master C. Doets underway from Surinam towards Amsterdam is in the evening of 31 October around 18.00 o'clock stranded south of Kijkduin and within a hour completely smashed to pieces. The master, helmsman, pilot and other crewmembers died except for the four men who escaped to a part of the Vleet. Her cargo was completely lost. The sugar barrels which drifted ashore were all empty.
