Russia-flagged, homeport MurmanskMMSI  273348820, IMO 9404039, callsign UBAF9 and BR no. 08170. Gross tonnage (international) 17.031 tons, net tonnage 5.257 (international0, deadweight 18.095 tons, displacement 29.137 tons and as dimensions 157,75 (BR)-169.04 (over all) x 23,10 (moulded)-26,45 (over all) x 10,00 x 14,20 (depth) metres. Speed 15,50 knots. Built [11 December 2008] at the Nordic Yards Wismar, Wismar, Germany with yard number 160. Owned by Mining and metallurgical Company Norilsk Nickel, Moscow and managed by Norilsk Nickel Murmansk, Murmansk, both Russia. 

In 2012 within six weeks completely overhauled by the Nordic Yards which was completed on 27 July 2012 including retrofitting two loading cranes, new harbour diesel and increasing cargo capacity. Further more was a shelter deck added. Indicates as a ACS 50 cargo ship. Sister ship of the Norilskiy Nickel. Ice breaking capacity of 1,50 metres thick ice.
