The Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 30 March 1850 announced the public sale on Monday 15 April 1850 in the Nieuwe Stads-Herberg at the Y, Amsterdam at 18.00 o’clock of the extra ordinary well sailing two decks frigate ship Pieter Florisz with all her equipment with as last master J.R. Smit. According to the certificate were her dimensions 40 el 20 duim x 7 el 50 duim x 5 el 90 duim and a measurement of 791 tons or 418 lasten.(1)
Also was 1.40 part in the Dutch bark ship Mathila of 308 lasten and as last master H.C. Wriborg to be sold.
