Building ordered on 13 September 1824. Laid down at New York, USA in July 1825, launched in May 1826 and between 1862-1880 used as floating headquarters of the Artillery Practice School, since 1867 Navy/Naval School. Crew numbered 480 men. Armament consisted of 30-32 pd guns, 2-34pd guns and 24-30pd carronades. Displacement 1.768 tons and as dimensions 53,94 x 7,92 x 4.57 x 6.09 metres. Ex Amazonas renamed by ordered dated 23 October 1826 Isabel and again renamed on 13 May 1831.
