According to a tiding dated Paris 10 February 1912 included the French naval shipbuilding program for 1912 the building of 3 battleships, for 1913, 1914 and 1917 each year another 2 and finally for 1915 4 battleships. In 1917-1919 were each year two fast cruisers to be build. Total building costs were amounted on 1.400.000.000 francs.
