A new Belgian fishery police vessel according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad morning edition dated 10 November 1938

The correspondent of this newspaper stationed at Brussel reported by phone the evening before the newspaper was published that within short time at the yards of the firm Cockerill at Antwerp the keel was laid down of a Belgian warship. She was to replace the police boat Zinnia used as a fishery patrol vessel in the Belgian coastal waters. The armament was to consist of some guns for her service as a coast guard vessel and small cruiser.
