French squadron off African coasts to prevent slavery according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 1 July 1818

Paris. 25 June. According to a royal decision dated 24 June was a permanently squadron to be fitted out stationed off the African coasts to visit all French vessels which appeared in these waters to prevent slavery.
