Movements of the Greek and Turkish navies in September 1821 according to the Dutch newspaper Goessche Courant dated 7 September 1821

The Greek ships which blockaded the harbour of Salonica for a long left time, departed to enforce the ships stationed off the entrance to the Dardanelles. Still it wasn’t believed that the (merchant) shipping in these waters was safe due to the importance for the Greeks to close this harbour.
