Russian naval strength according to the Dutch newspaper Overijsselse Courant dated 25 May 1824

According to th item dated St. Petersburg, 4 May consisted the Russian navy of 70 ships of the line, 18 frigates, 6 cutters, 7 brigs, 54 schooners. 20 galleys, 25 floating batteries, 121 gunboats, 63 yawls and 80 falkonets (?), totally 464 ships and vessels armed with 5.000 guns and manned with 33.000 sailors, 9.000 marines and 3.000 sea artillerymen.
