South American Independents captured Spanish warships according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 8 September 1818

London, 4 September. According to newspapers dated until 25 July which were received yesterday from Jamaica captured admiral Brion two or three Spanish warships while the privateers continuously harassed the area.
