An item reported that the Spanish naval strength was the strongest ever. It consisted of 103 ships including 52 ships of the line, 26 frigates of 16-36 guns, 4-16 gun packet boats, 13-24 gun chebecqs, 4 bomb galliots and 4 fireships. All ships were prepared for immediately departure although that order was not expected to be given.
