Laid down at the shipyard of Santierul Naval Constanta S.A. at Constanta, Romania on 10 October 1999 with yard no. 524, launched on 22 February 2011 and completed in July 2001.. With a deadweight of 6,211 tons, a net tonnage of 1,583 tons, a gross tonnage of 5,278 tons and as dimensions 101, 26 (registered)-107,86 (over all) x 16,80 (registered) x 7,450 and a moulded depth of 9,40 metres. The Caterpillar 9M32 supplies 4,320 kW allowing a speed 12,4-16,9 knots. Owned by Partereederei m.t. “Kappagas” of Bremen, Germany and managed by Sloman Neptun Schiffahrts Gmbh of Bremen, Germany.
