Dutch whaler De Jager for sale at Westzaandam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haarlemse courant dated 19 December 1797
An announcement reported that the brokers M. der Kinderen, S. Jongewaard junior, M. te Veltrup, J. van Sante and A. Rep intended to sell on Saturday 23 December in the tavern Den Otter at Westzaandam the extra ordinary well sailing fluytship De Jager, dimensions 111’(prow) x 28’x 11½’, verdeck 6½’and steering platform and all the whale catchers tools of her last commandeur Jurrian Roelofs.
