An item reported that according to the German newspaper Kölnische Zeitung the German naval force in the Chinese waters numbered 23 ships. Of the 12 troop transports arrived three at Shanghai, were seven underway between Singapore and Ta-Koe and two daily expected at Ta-Koe.
