An item dated Rome 4 August reported that the minister of navy admiral Raffaele de Courten and the minister of air force general Renato Sandalli were also appointed as chief of the staffs of respectively the navy and the air force. The newspaper Dagblad van het Zuiden voor Eindhoven, Meierij, Peel en Kempenland dated 5 August confirmed this item.
