Portuguese transports embarking troops for the Azores according to the Dutch magazine De Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius dated October 1766

An item dated Lisbon 10 September reported that the new governor general of the Azores Don Antonio d’Almyda with his family and some civil authorities went on board of the Nossa Senhora de bon Successo departing the next day to Terceira. According to another tiding was the regiment of Braganza at Port a Port embarked on board of five transports with the same destination.
