Built at the shipyard of Philip&Son, Dartmouth, Devon, England with yard number 1297 for account of the Trinity House in 1957-1958. Costs 118.820 pond sterling. Her building was ordered in November 1956,. Launched on 2 April 1958, handed over to be used on St. Gowan station on 21 July 1958, decommissioned in 1995, sold to Sea Containers Ltd to become a never realized marina at House Creek, Harwich in 1997, used for pirate broadcasting, sold to Pharos Trust to be restored in 2001, used in the film The Boat That Rocked for which occasion she was partially painted yellow as she acts as the pirate station Radio Sunshine. Dimensions 114-133 (over all) x 26.5 x 12.5 feet or 34,75-40,54 x 8,08 x 3,80 metres and a displacement of 525 tons.
