Sale of 1/16 part in Dutch whaler Assurantie on a public auction on Monday 10 March 1766 in the Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement at Amsterdam according to the Dutch magazine De Maandelyksche Nederlandsche Mercurius of March 1766

To be sold by the brokers F. Bontekoning, V. de Vries and J. Frenie one 1/16 part in the whaler Assurantie and equipment, fluytship, with as last commandeur Simon Swol, on 1752 newly fitted out, now lying at Amsterdam, destined for Greenland with 6-7 launches was to be sold with the fitting out to be paid by the buyer. Director Hermanus van Gellecum, ƒ 800+ƒ 200, not sold.
