Dutch merchant ships Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia of the KWIM sold to Norwegian company according to the Dutch newspaper Suriname: koloniaal nieuws- en advertentieblad dated 11 April 1916

An item reported that the three ships Venezuela, Ecuador and the Columbia belonging to the K.W.I.M. (1) and which were sold to a Norwegian firm were according to the magazine American Exporter a few days later sold again. The American firm W.R. Grace&Co. bought the ships for 1.100.000 dollars each, resulting in a net benefit for the Norwegian owners of 337.500 dollars. The ships were now to be used on the line San Francisco-Mid America.
