Romanian cabinet forbade Romanian merchant ships to enter the seas around England according to the Dutch newspaper De banier dated 20 August 1940

An item dated Bucharest 19 August reported that as a result of the British announcement of a total blockade forbade the Romanian cabinet all Romania flagged ships to enter the area around England which Germany declared to be dangerous.
