More Dornier flying boats for service in the Dutch East Indies being build according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van Friesland dated 23 September 1938

An item reported that the number of the Dornier flying boats Dornier Do 24 now being built by Avioland at Papendrecht, the Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Flushing and the Dornier plant at Friedrichshafen was to increased with another twelve. Included the latter twelve were in the near future 60 Dornier flying boats available for service in the Dutch East Indies. Thirty of these were now being in Germany. Some planes were already delivered in the Indies.
