Turkish cabinet decided to modernize the navy according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland dated 26 March 1925

An item dated Angora 25 March reported that the parliament approved the naval budget. The cabinet intended to found a naval war college with foreign teachers. Dealing with the fleet were the ships able to service repaired and the others to be sold.
