Swedish freighter Guy built at Westerbroek according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 3 December 1917

An item reported that at the Dutch shipyard of the firm E.J. Smit&Zn. at Westerbroek was the steel-built freighter Guy with a loading capacity of 1,150 tons launched. She was build for the firm Hugo Persson&Co, at Landscrona, Sweden. She was to be fitted out with a 550 ihp triple expansion engine build by the same shipyard which allowed a speed of 8,5 knots. The same shipyard built another two ships for the Swedish firm.
