British navy building up mine sweepers service according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1911-1912 no. 8

An item reported that recently at Hull seventy men were engaged to serve in the mine sweepers service of the Navy Reserve. Daily were they practicing with the mother ship Jason on the Humber in minesweeping. Again were fishing vessels bought to be used as minesweepers although there yet not complete crews for wartime engaged.

Note
1. This must be the former torpedo gunboat HMS Jason launched at the shipyard of N.C.&A. (Vickers) on 14 May 1892, since 1909 used as a minesweeper and which was lost on 7 April 1917 caused by a mine.
