Norwegian navy intended to built just four kinds of ships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1907-1908 No. 8

An item reported that the Norwegian Navy commission proposed to built in the future just to built coastal defence ships, destroyers, torpedo boats and submarines. Dealing with the first category it was suggested to built a improved Norge of Eidsvold design with a stronger armour and an armament of 6-25/28cm guns in turrets and some 15cm guns.
