An item reported that the 32 destroyers to be built according to the Japanese naval budget of 1917 were of the Umikaze design. The building was to be executed in the fleet program fort he next seven years. With a displacement of 1.170 tons, a speed of 33 miles and an armament consisting of 2-12cm guns, 5-7,6cm guns and 4-45cm torpedo tubes.
